If you don’t

If you don’t pay the utilities they will
shut them off. How do you decide?

When you get to this point it’s time to get down to
basic survival and work from there.

I have actually talked to people that stated their credit
cards were up to date but their mortgage was two months
behind. This is one of the biggest mistakes we can make
when we don’t have the money to pay everything.

Another mistake I see on a regular basis is that some people
pay their bills at the expense of their food budget.

If you have the money to pay some of your bills you have to
start with groceries first and necessary health items. You can try to save as much as possible on your food but
that money has to be set aside before anything else.

The next bill you must pay is your mortgage or rent. While
credit cards companies will drag out their collection process,
mortgage companies and landlords will start the process of
foreclosure or eviction within just a couple of months.

Your next priority is your utilities.

If you like to host frequent small

September 4, 2010 - 9:42 am No Comments

If you like to host frequent small dinners, for instance, a big eat-in kitchen or separate dining room might be a priority. If you want to throw a huge bash periodically, a big living room and, during warmer seasons, a landscaped garden or deck with plenty of room for seating would be an asset, as would a highly functional, professional style kitchen. A barbecue nut absolutely needs a big backyard; and hosting relatives requires extra bedrooms (or rooms which could be quickly converted into guest rooms) and definitely more than one bath.

Make a “must have” list for your new home: eat-in kitchen, finished basement, big backyard, gardening space, in-ground pool – whatever you most desire. Then go through your list and prioritize, based on how you really plan to live.

Assuming you know the general area where you want to live, it’s also important to have a list of towns where you would like to live.

I still have in my room

September 4, 2010 - 7:52 am No Comments

I still have in my room the Rubik’s Cube which I managed only once to solve and numerous times I thought of taking off its colored rectangular stickers and placing each color on every side. I never actually did it because I was afraid of the consequences if I destroyed my fathers favorite toy. When I understood that solving the cube requires some planning and problem-solving skills, I was determined to succeed and I still remember the joyful screaming when I managed to “solve” its mystery; probably by accident. Since then, I have been catching myself thinking of my favorite old toys, like Lego and Playmobil, not very girly I know, and recapturing the times I was playing in our then common room with my brother.

Toys are used in play by children, adults and pets. The difference a toy has from a game is that toy play does not have clearly defined goals; that is if you do not play with my brother.

As much as I loathe standardized

September 4, 2010 - 6:59 am No Comments

As much as I loathe standardized testing, I have to admit that I’m relieved by the California State Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate the high school exit exam. For those of you who may not have heard, yesterday the high court suspended an Alameda County Superior Court Judge’s prior ruling which prohibited schools from withholding diplomas of students that failed the exit exam. I’m saddened to think that the 46,000 high school seniors who haven’t passed the test yet won’t be donning caps and gowns with their classmates next month; however, I’m frightened that this signifies that 46,000 students from the class of ?06 can’t do 8th grade math or read at a 10th grade level. How can we, as educators and as citizens, send someone to college or into the workplace without these basic skills? What value does a diploma have if it doesn’t represent any actual learning?

Critics of the exit exam have pointed out that underpriveleged and minority students are disporportionately affected by it. I whole-heartedly agree that this represents a social problem that needs to be dealt with, but I don’t think dismissing the test is the answer.

What Does That Mean To YOU?

Mike Mezak Joins Numis – What Does That Mean To YOU? by David M. Wood
in Business / MLM (submitted 2010-09-03)

The Numis Network has been creating some serious buzz online and also in the offline Network Marketing community since it’s launch in August of 2009, and masses of people have been resonating with a simple message of creating wealth through the power of Collectible Assets.

Whenever entering in to an industry where you’re planning on creating a BUSINESS, you need to consider a few things – including market size, competition, sustainability, and the leadership of the organization that you’re looking to expand or create.

The Numis Network is an opportunity that is wedged dead center in the middle of two $100 billion market sectors – the industry of Numismatic collectible coins, and the industry of Network Marketing. Previously, I’ve written articles about the MLM leadership of Numis, but remained fairly silent on the power that Mike Mezak lends to the organization. The simple reality is that with Mike on board with the company, we have the man LEADING the sales in a massive multi-billion dollar market sector with no dominant market leader taking more than 20 years of direct selling experience into this company.

From an INDUSTRY perspective, because of the combined experience of 60 years of MLM leadership, and the fact that the #1 Numismatic salesman in the world have combined knowledge to create a market leader in an un-competitive market sector – the Numis Network is poised for a kind of growth that few Network Marketing companies have been able to experience in the last 60+ years in this industry’s history.

I like to think about it from a ‘Network Marketing’ perspective however, because personally – I didn’t get involved in MLM to be a coin salesman, I got involved to build a massive organization of 100,000 ACTIVE distributors on an autoship.

For the distributors in the company, the key to building a team that expands into the thousands, and hundreds of thousands is having a simple ability to take the ability to sell the products and the opportunity into the hands of the average person.

Think about it from this angle – what’s easier – learning thousands of years of history, studying sales tactics, and learning how to be a guru – or sitting down with someone and playing a sales video from someone who sells $100 billion per year of your product?

Obviously – playing the video. Mike Mezak brings the POWER of the world’s greatest Numismatic salesman into the hands of the everyday, part time distributor – giving us the chance help a new distributor have success before they even know anything at all about the product or how to sell it.

Why is that important? Because we’re doing this to grow a MASSIVE business and have time freedom, and the only way of doing that is by taking the skills of ‘Gurus’ like Mike, and replicating them into the hands of thousands of average people all around the world.

What Mike Mezak really does for The Numis Network, is he gives you, as a leader in this industry, the power of LEVERAGE.

Mike Mezak joining Numis definitely adds credibility to the organization and is going to aid in the long term success of the company – however, if YOU want to build a Numis business, it’s more about just the company

4-cycle engines are the weakest engine around, with horsepower topping 20 HP. Think of the power needed to run a heavy-duty vacuum cleaner ? that?s how much power a 4-cycle engine exerts. 2-cycle engines are typically associated with the likes of Vespas (European motor scooters) and mopeds. These go up to 90 HP. Added cylinders (individual horsepower generators in go-karts) can boost horsepower, adding pure speed & power to your machine. Perhaps 10-cylinder Formula One kart engines and its incredible capabilities ring bells to you now!

Want pinpoint control over the speed of your go-kart? No problem here! Go-karts have basic transmission systems with gears that control speed to its desired amount.

September 4, 2010 - 3:39 am No Comments

The former is a light duty machine that uses a single high-speed impeller (a rotor inside a tube) to pull in snow and expel it from a discharge chute. Two-stage snow blowers on the other hand, are heavy duty and have more than one low-speed metal auger that pull the snow into an impeller, which then discharges the snow into a chute.

Leaf blowers can be handheld, backpack or wheeled. Handhelds are most suitable for simple, home maintenance works. Backpack blowers are swift, has quick throttle response and fuel efficient and generally preferred by professionals. Wheeled or walk-behind leaf blowers are the best for maintaining larger areas and are mostly gas-powered.

Industrial blowers are manufactured using a range of durable plastics and metals, or a combination of both materials. Function includes drying, reducing heat levels, reducing smoke and odors, processing and controlling gaseous fumes in industrial settings like factories.

Blowers provides detailed information about blowers, backpack blowers, blower fans, blower motors and more. Blowers is the sister site of Electric Pressure Washers..

A good place

September 4, 2010 - 2:57 am No Comments

A good place for an antique clock would be a castle or a mansion of course, but isn?t your home also your castle.

If one has a romantic bent, one could purchase antique French clocks.

Having antique clocks at home is not without it?s share of problems. The fact that they are old and require maintenance and care can be a source of challenges. For instance, they may stop reading accurate time. Either running few minutes (or even a few hours ahead) or simply slowing down to a stop. A good idea would be to have a shop near by that provides maintenance and, of course, this will insure that your antique clocks are well kept and functioning smoothly.
